About Us

How We're Helping

Liberty Community Church is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, non-denominational, multicultural, faith-based church with a heart for making the world around us a better and more joyful place.

Since launching on January 1, 2023, right here in Frederick, MD, we've been on a mission to ignite a spiritual revival—one rooted in love, community, and purpose. With your support, we’re continuing to grow through powerful community events and life-giving training sessions designed to equip and empower the next generation of Christian believers.

Mission

At Liberty Community Church, our mission is to ignite and nurture a thriving community of believers who are passionately committed to winning souls for Christ and building meaningful, lasting relationships. Everything we do is driven by our core values of faith, family, and purpose.

Vision

Our mission is to be a Christ-centered community where people experience salvation through Jesus Christ, build meaningful relationships within the church family, and live out their God-given purpose by serving both the Kingdom and the local community.

Statement of Faith

To preserve and pass on the heritage of Christian doctrine and ensure sound church order and governance, we—the pastors, ministers, and lay members of Liberty Community Church, Inc.—affirm the following Statement of Faith:

1. Faith in the Holy Trinity

We believe in one living and true God—holy, loving, eternal, and unlimited in power, wisdom, and goodness. In this unity exist three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit—equal in nature, power, and eternity.
Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1–2; Acts 5:3–4

The Father

The Father is the source of all creation, showing love and goodwill toward humanity and welcoming repentant sinners.
Psalm 68:5; Matthew 7:11; John 3:17; Romans 8:15

The Son

Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, is both fully divine and fully human. He died for our sins, was buried, rose again, ascended to heaven, and now intercedes for us until His return to judge the world.
John 3:16–17; 1 Corinthians 15:3–8; Romans 5:10

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son, equal in majesty and glory. He convicts, regenerates, sanctifies, and guides believers.
John 14:16–17; Romans 8:9; 2 Corinthians 3:17

2. The Holy Scriptures

We believe the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible Word of God and sufficient for salvation and righteous living.
See full list of canonical books and supporting Scriptures.

3. God’s Purpose for Humanity

God’s will is summed up in the two great commandments: to love Him and love others—guiding all personal and social conduct.
Matthew 22:37–40; Romans 13:8–10

4. Marriage and Family

Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting God's relationship with His people. We affirm biblical standards for marriage while acknowledging life’s complexities.
Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:23–32

5. Free Will and Grace

Though human nature is corrupted by original sin, God’s prevenient grace enables all to choose salvation through Jesus Christ.
Deuteronomy 30:19; Romans 5:12–21

6. Sin and Redemption

Sin entered through Adam and affects all creation. Though we are born with a sinful nature, redemption is possible through Christ.
Genesis 3; Romans 3:23; Ephesians 2:1–3

7. The Atonement

Christ’s death on the cross provides the only means of salvation. It is sufficient for all, but effective for those who repent and believe.
Isaiah 53:5; John 3:16; Romans 5:8

8. Repentance and Faith

Salvation requires repentance—turning from sin—and faith—trusting in Jesus Christ.
Acts 3:19; Romans 10:9; Ephesians 2:8–9

9. Justification, Regeneration, and Adoption

Upon true faith and repentance, believers are justified, spiritually reborn, and adopted into God’s family.
Romans 5:1; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Ephesians 1:5

10. Good Works

Good works do not save, but are a natural result of faith and a testimony of God’s grace.
Ephesians 2:10; James 2:18

11. Sin After Salvation

Even believers can fall into sin, but God’s grace offers restoration through repentance.
1 John 1:9; Hebrews 10:35–39

12. Sanctification

Sanctification is the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit setting believers apart for God’s purposes. It begins at salvation, progresses over time, and culminates in entire sanctification.
Romans 6:19–22; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; Hebrews 12:14

13. Spiritual Gifts

The Holy Spirit gives gifts to believers to build up the Church. These gifts must be used in love and unity.
1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Ephesians 4:11–16

14. The Church

The Church is the body of Christ, made up of all believers. It is called to preach the Gospel, administer the sacraments, and live in obedience to Christ. Liberty Community Church, Inc. functions autonomously under spiritual guidance.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42–47; 1 Corinthians 12:28

15. The Sacraments

Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are Christ-ordained acts of faith, symbolizing our identification with His death and resurrection.
Matthew 28:19; Luke 22:19–20; Acts 2:38

16. The Second Coming

Christ will return personally and imminently. His return inspires holy living and fuels our mission to spread the Gospel.
Matthew 24–25; Mark 13; Job 19:25–27

17. Resurrection of the Dead

All will be raised—believers to eternal life, and the unrepentant to judgment. Christ’s resurrection guarantees ours.
Daniel 12:2; 1 Corinthians 15; John 5:28–29

18. Final Judgment

God will judge all people with perfect justice. Everyone will stand before Him to receive reward or consequence.
Ecclesiastes 12:14; Matthew 25:31–46; Romans 2:16

19. Eternal Destiny

Life continues after death. Those who accept Christ will enjoy eternal life in heaven; those who reject Him will face eternal separation from God.
Matthew 25:34–46; John 14:2–3; 2 Corinthians 5:6
